Where were you born?
I was born in Strawberry Creek, where the water is warm and sweet.
When is your birthday?
My birthday is November 18th, which means that I share it with many new families. November 18th is National Adoption Day!
Hair color?
Black. I have coarse hair, called bristles, on my legs - all six of them!

Black. I have two large bulging eyes; each eye has roughly 20,000 lenses, or tinier eyes. I can see all around me - even behind me - as far as 15 miles away!
Where do you live?
I am a very unusual dragonfly, because I have moved into a web - a web site, that is. I also live in the imaginations of many children, where I help kindle a love of reading.
Are you married?
I am married to a very nice dragonfly named Kinder, which means children, and is part of the word kindergarten.
Do you have children?
I have about 100,000 children, but they've all moved away from home.
Do you have pets?
Oh no! Puppies and kittens love to chase dragonflies.
Do you have siblings?
Yes. I have tens of thousands of brothers and sisters, although I'm not sure exactly how many.
